Pip is rarely found far from his cosy moss-lined basket. The Vhalandir say he has an unusually gentle nature, content to watch the forest around him while listening to the songs sung each evening beneath the trees.
Like all Shrumlets, Pip lost his family before he was old enough to learn the ancient ways of his kind. Until he is ready to return to Thalorien, he remains in the care of those who promise that no young Shrumling will ever face the world alone again.
