The first thing most creatures notice about Timmel is his permanently unimpressed expression. He grumbles when frogs splash too loudly, sighs when birds flutter overhead, and has been known to mutter at raindrops that land on his nose. The other Mosslings often joke that Timmel was born in a bad mood.
Yet beneath his stern appearance lies a deeply caring soul. Whenever a patch of moss begins to dry or a tiny woodland creature loses its way, Timmel is quietly the first to help, making certain no one notices his kindness. In the marshes of Dreomere, where patience and quiet care keep the wetlands alive, even the grumpiest Mossling has an important place.
