There is always something new waiting to be examined on a herbalist’s worktable.
Jars filled with gathered ingredients line the back of the table, while handwritten notes and botanical drawings record observations made in the field. Crystals and stones sit beside dried flowers and plants, books have been left open for reference, and a small bundle of freshly gathered botanicals hangs from the side, waiting to be sorted.
Somewhere among the notes and specimens, another remedy may be taking shape—or perhaps the herbalist has simply returned from the forest with far more interesting finds than there is room for.
This detailed miniature captures a working space rather than a perfectly ordered display: a table belonging to someone endlessly curious about the plants, minerals and other natural treasures found throughout the wilds.
