Moss and tangled vegetation have crept across the woodland floor, growing around old roots, stones and fallen branches. A narrow path winds deeper into the trees, disappearing into the mist beyond. Nestled quietly among all that greenery is a tiny inhabitant, almost perfectly hidden in its surroundings.
The scene continues into the lid, creating the illusion that the little forest floor extends far beyond the confines of the wooden box. Natural materials, miniature details and layers of vegetation give the piece its overgrown appearance, as though this place has existed undisturbed for a very long time.
