Yixl

Where his elder brother Nurix burns with wanderlust, Yixl, the second son of King Zaxus III, shines with quiet thought. He treasures the tales of his brother’s journeys, storing them like jewels in his heart, but his own feet rarely stray far from home. His most cherished possession is a simple helmet gifted by Nurix, a symbol of their bond and of the paths they will walk side by side, though in different ways.

Yixl is a dreamer, but not in the restless sense. His wisdom flows not from experience in the wilds, but from reflection. He can often be found in the company of scholars and Elders, conversing until dawn about memory, destiny, and the place of the Vhalandir beneath the stars. When solitude claims him, he is no less content: lying in sunlit meadows with a book, or charting the night sky by lanternlight, mapping constellations with patient hand.

Unlike Nurix, Yixl has no hunger for discovery of lost ruins or forgotten lands. His explorations reach inward and upward—into the nature of thought, the lore of ages, and the mysteries of the heavens. His dream is not the throne, but to serve it: to become a trusted philosopher and advisor when his brother one day ascends.

Though quieter than his siblings, Yixl’s presence is steadying. He is the voice that tempers fire with calm, and the hand that offers perspective when disputes arise. To those who know him well, he is as much a guide as any explorer—for he charts paths of the mind where others cannot see.
