Sayox

The only daughter of King Zaxus III and Queen Myxas, Sayox is cherished by her family and beloved among the Vhalandir for her gentle heart. In many ways she mirrors her mother’s kindness and love for the natural world. Her days are most often spent among the gardens she tends with devotion, or in the company of the small animals she keeps close. When the forest calls, she wanders beneath its canopy, gathering flowers for her bouquets, or returning with baskets of berries and mushrooms to share with the household.

Sayox is happiest beneath open skies, but when the rains fall she turns her care inward. Indoors she crafts dried flower wreaths, paints landscapes and portraits in delicate strokes, or curls up with books that carry her mind as far as her brother Nurix’s adventures. Though she has little desire to roam as he does, she delights in listening to his tales by firelight, her eyes bright with wonder. With Yixl she is just as content, trading thoughts on the constellations or listening quietly as he ponders the mysteries of the world.

Where her brothers embody restless fire and quiet mind, Sayox is the balance between them: warm, grounded, and steady. She carries her mother’s gentleness but with her own gift for artistry, weaving beauty from whatever the day places in her hands. To the people of Thalorien she is not only the daughter of their king, but a living reminder of the harmony they prize—of nature tended, stories shared, and bonds that hold a people together.
