Last tale of 2025

โœจ As the year turns in Vhalandar โœจ
As the year comes to an end, Vhalandar slows โ€” not into silence, but into reflection. Fires burn lower, workshops grow quieter, and the world settles into a moment where looking back and looking ahead briefly meet.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ A year of making
2025 was, above all, a year of creating.
New beings came into existence โ€” Nissri, Forest Guardians, Rootlings, Mosslings, Whimlings, Pymblets โ€” alongside experiments with dioramas, witchy miniatures, cabinets, portals, and pieces that didnโ€™t always fit neatly into a single category. Some creations found new homes quickly, others remained here, becoming part of Vhalandar itself. Each piece, sold or not, helped refine both the craft and the direction of the world.

๐Ÿงพ Behind the scenes & professional growth
This year wasnโ€™t just about creating new creatures and miniatures, but also about the work happening behind the scenes.
The Vhalandar website went live, giving the world and its stories a dedicated home. In early December, Vhalandar officially became a registered business โ€” a significant step toward a more sustainable and professional future.
I also invested considerably in improving how creations are prepared for their journey. Creatures and miniatures are now carefully wrapped in sturdy packaging, with attention to both protection and presentation. Each parcel includes a personal note and a small gift โ€” because even a gift to yourself should feel special.

Other quiet work in the background:
โ€“ a long-dreamed-of upgrade to my workspace
โ€“ Lore of Vhalandar gaining structure through regions, ecosystems, and shared history
โ€“ the beginning of The Vhalandar Chronicles, allowing for deeper and darker stories
โ€“ the launch of Tales of Vhalandar, this monthly newsletter
โ€“ making-of reels becoming a steady rhythm, bringing new eyes and growth
From 500 to 831 followers, the community continued to grow โ€” slowly, but with intent.

๐Ÿ“ฆ A difficult season for the shop
Not everything moved smoothly.
In August, shipping to the US had to stop unexpectedly due to postal restrictions and uncertainty around import tariffs. For a time, the shop effectively stalled. To continue shipping at all, I switched to a courier service. While reliable and fast, it came at a significantly higher cost, and the impact on the shop was felt almost immediately.
Now, there is movement again.
Because Vhalandar is officially registered as a business, I am currently setting up a business postal service. If all goes as planned, regular US shipping should resume in January, allowing prices for US customers to be adjusted back to more accessible levels.

๐Ÿ“– Stories taking the lead
Storytelling became more central throughout the year. Not only through regular lore posts, but also through more structured narrative work.
At the end of 2025, The Vhalandar Chronicles began with The Night of the Devouring Flame โ€” a story marking the rise of an ancient and dangerous force. This narrative will continue to unfold before the creature at its heart is revealed. The stories will come first. The being will follow.

๐Ÿ”ฎ Looking ahead
2025 was not a year of easy wins or quick success. It was a year of groundwork โ€” of learning where to persist, where to adapt, and where patience matters most.
As the new year approaches, Vhalandar stands more clearly defined than ever: not just as a collection of handmade beings, but as a growing world with stories yet to be told.
Thank you for being here โ€” for reading, watching, supporting, or simply wandering through Vhalandar in your own way.

Until next time, may the old stories of Vhalandar rest where they belong, and the new ones quietly begin to stir.
